Hello! I'm Gianna. I work as a story editor and producer, primarily for narrative and news podcasts. I’m currently an editor for The New Yorker’s Political Scene podcast. Previously, I edited podcasts for Stitcher/SiriusXM, where I was a founding member of the team making audio documentaries (like Welcome to Provincetown and Toxic: The Britney Spears Story) and beloved weekly shows (including The Sporkful and Unladylike). I’ve also worked as senior producer for Katie Couric’s award-winning podcast and at the BBC as a broadcast producer and contributing radio reporter. I started my career as a stringer for Reuters and producer of news and feature segments for WNYC, America's most listened-to public radio station. I graduated from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and from Wesleyan University with a B.A. in English and sociology. I grew up in Eugene, Oregon.
